A Cullercoats-based stage school set-up only a matter of months ago has hailed its first ever production a huge success.
Stagecraft School of Performing Arts was established at the beginning of last September with only three members on its books. But it has grown from strength to strength, and now boasts 18 young members and three adults.
The youngsters performed a re-adaptation of the children's classic Cinderella on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th January, 2008 to packed audiences at Cullercoats Community Centre.
Kate Miller, who runs the school, said: "Both nights were completely sold out, and the audience gave standing ovations at the end. "It's been an amazing success."
